Audrina Patridge to star in new US reality show

Audrina Patridge, star of hit TV series The Hills, is to star in her own self titled reality show. Unfortunately for us Brit fans, the series is first to air in the US, with its premier in April on VH1, fingers crossed TV bosses here snap it up quickly.

Unlike the drama filled The Hills, 'Audrina' is rumoured to be centered more around the reality star's family life as she returns to her home of Orange County, California. Joining Audrina will be her mum Lynn, dad Mark and three siblings.

In a promo ad for the series, Audrina dives into a swimming pool at a LA hotel fully clothed. As she swims through the water her dress slips off to reveal a cozzie, and as she comes up for air is transported into the pool at her family home, where her mum is barbecuing and he sister and brother sunning themselves.The idea being that Audrina is trying to find her place in life between fame and home.

This is the ultimate reality TV show starring sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe as they go through life and loves. Since the programme started in 2007, the girls have moved out of the family home, got married and had children, despite this they still have their sibling rivalry, tantrums, and then there's the running of Dash, the family's clothing store in LA and Miami, as well as several public appearances come family holidays.
A fantastic replacement to The Hills, with loveable real characters that you can relate to and characters that you love to hate-e.g Scott, every mother's bf hell.
