I'm a Celebrity Get me out of Here-Pat and Lorraine leave the jungle

Not one, but two people left the jungle on last night’s I’m a Celebrity. Pat was the first to leave after loosing in a task to Olympian Fatima, where the two faced spiders, meal worms, snakes and cockroaches in a trial which saw them put their head in a bowl filled with critters.

Despite getting a cockroach stuck up her nose, Fatima still won the trial after a tie breaker led to the celebs having to battle it out to find three stars in a tank of goo using just their mouths. Fatima left Pat standing after finding the three stars in record timing, while Pat struggled to find even one.

Pat’s eviction followed a day of being a skivvy for Prince Willie and Princess Lorraine. His jobs included getting the bed ready for the Prince and Princess and her beloved Tedward, who Pat had threatened to burn at the stake a week before.

Following Pat was Lorraine who left after getting the least public votes to stay in the jungle.

Also on last night’s episode:
  • Prince Willie and Princess Lorraine switched the roles of the celebs around. Tony, who previously was the chef of the camp, was made jester. However, after refusing to take on the role, he was given the job of housekeeper instead of Mark. Fatima was made chef and cooked up a gourmet meal of duck and aubergine, which received praise from all the camp mates apart from Tony who criticised the way Fatima cooked the meal and claimed that he had created meals from much trickier ingredients.

I'm a Celebrity Get me out of Here-Pat Sharp takes joke too far

Pat Sharp's true colours were revealed on I'm a Celebrity..... last night, as the former children's TV presenter and radio DJ, bitched behind the back of his fellow contestants, with half of them, the orange team (Lorrain Chase, Stephanie Powers, Anthony Cotton, Fatima, Willie) spending the night in the Sin Bin, after loosing the Beat the Bugs-Head Spin, immunity challenge to the blue team.

Mr Sharp told his fellow blue team mates, Mark Wright, Jessica-Jane, Emily,  Dougie and Crissy, that he believes Sinitta is playing a very clever game, as someone that head strong couldn't possibly be that terrified of everything, and that Lorraine is far too nice and her teddy bear Tedwood should be burnt at the stake.

Knowing how much Tedwood means to Lorraine, Pat's team mates told him enough is enough, however he continued with his bitching until Lorraine told him to sod off and revealed that from now on Tedwood will stay in her bag.

However, Pat got his comeuppance as the public voted for him to do the next task-Head Spin, but was it just a clever plan devised by Sharp all along?

I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here-The two teams become one

The camps combined on last night's show, with Snake Rock joining Croc Creek to form one team. While Snake Rock were sad to break-up their little 'family', celebs at Croc Creek were looking forward to the move and enjoying new conversations.

Mark seemed particularly pleased that Jessica-Jane, who he beat in the celeb chest challenge, where they had to fill waders with water, would be joining the group, and even Stephanie Powers seemed content to be sous chef to Anthony Cotton, after he told her he prepared three different meals a day from just rice and beans.

The coming together of the camps followed the arrival of two new celebs-Sinitta and Pat Sharp, who endured a night in a cave full of cockroaches to win their team mates their luxury items-including Lorraine Chase's teddy bear, and Dougie's girlfriend's hairband sprayed with her perfume. Sinitta's time in the cave, screaming and standing frozen to a spot, also won her the public vote to compete in tonight's trial Cable Car Tastrophe.

The announcement of the camps merging also came after Fatima, formerly of Croc Creek, beat Dougie, former Snake Rock member, at the Rat Run trial, which saw the pair scramble on their hands and knees around a maze with cockroaches, a lizard and rats, to find five stars. Dougie said he had been dreading having to go up against the Olympic athlete.

I'm a Celebrity Get me out of Here-the celebs arrive in camp

The celebs were dropped into the jungle last night in the first of the new series of I’m, a Celebrity Get me out of Here.

They were split into two teams of five. One team-Mark Wright, Anthony Cotton, Crissy Rock, Fatima Whitbread and Lorraine Chase, were tasked with doing a parachute jump into camp, while the other team-Stephanie Powers, Dougie Ponyter, Willie Carson, Jessica-Jane Clement, later joined by Freddie Starr, canoed their way into the jungle.

Crissy Rock, who took out her false teeth to do the jump changed her mind at the last minute after seeing her fellow celebs do the tandem skydive-including sixty-year-old Lorraine Chase and soap star Anthony Cotton, who is terrified of flying.

On arrival, the teams were joined by Freddie Starr, before set a trial to decide on who would get the luxury camp.

For the task, the teams, on either side of each other, were hoisted above the ground on ‘weighing scales.’ Each celeb had in front of them a box with nasties and stars. The team to remove the stars with their mouths one at a time in consecutive order the quickest would win.

Before Freddie could get his second star, the whole of the yellow team had retrieved their stars.

The winning team (Mark Wright, Fatima Whitbread, Lorraine Chase, Anthony Cotton, Crissy Rock) were sent to luxury camp Croc Creek where they enjoyed a ice meal. The loosing team went to basic Snake Rock to eat rice and beans after being dunked into a vat of fish guts.

At Snake Rock, Freddie admitted how guilty he felt about loosing the task to his disgruntled team mates, who said to forget about it and get on with things.

On tonight’s episode Mark Wright of Croc Creek will compete against Freddie Starr, Snake Rock, in Greasy Spoon, an eating trial. Will Freddie turn it around and beat competitive Mr Wright?
